Terms of Service

By downloading and using BitaBit, you agree to these terms. They are short and written in plain language.

1. The app

BitaBit is a hi-fi audio player for iPhone distributed through the App Store for playing audio files you own or have the right to hear. Pricing and availability are shown by Apple on the App Store listing.

2. Your content and rights

Only import, keep or play audio files that you own, have purchased, have properly licensed, are in the public domain, or that you are otherwise legally authorised to use. You are responsible for having all permissions, licences and playback rights required by applicable law and by the terms of any third party or rights holder. BitaBit does not provide, verify or transfer rights in audio content; it only plays the files you choose from your device.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use BitaBit to:

  • Violate copyright or intellectual property rights
  • Import or play files you do not have the legal right to access
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile or redistribute the app or its bundled libraries

4. No warranty

BitaBit is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We work to make it reliable, but cannot guarantee it will be error-free, uninterrupted or compatible with every audio file and playback route.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Overpal shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of the app, including loss of data or audio files.

6. Open-source licenses

BitaBit includes open-source libraries under their respective licenses. A full credits list is available in the app under Settings.

7. Changes

We may update these terms as the app evolves. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
